The Association of Bochnia Residents and Lovers of the Bochnia Region has its headquarters at the Bochnia Market Square in a building whose gable is adorned with the Eye of Providence. Various exhibitions, expositions and meetings are held inside the townhouse.

The Bochnia Residents’ House (Dom Bochniaków) is a landmark on the map of Bochnia. It is a tenement house with the Eye of Providence. It dates from the second half of the 18th century and is located at the market square in Bochnia. It is likely that the town of Bochnia’s weighing scales had at that time already been located here for quite some time. It has been the headquarters of the Association of Bochnia Residents and Lovers of Bochnia Region since 1968. The tenement house is tiled and has a stucco, Baroque-Classical façade.

The association it hosts was born out of an idea by schoolmates to keep traditions alive, to recall emotional ties to Bochnia and to nurture interpersonal social and cultural contacts in the town. It is active in preserving monuments, publishing historical and cultural publications, organising meetings and running the String Orchestra, the Sapere Aude Discussion Club, and the Aristocratic Theatre. Exciting exhibitions and meetings are held within the walls of the Bochnia Residents’ House. On the Bochnia residents' website, one can embark on a journey using virtual exhibitions about, among others, prominent graduates of the Bochnia gymnasium and high school, including the lawyer Frederick Zoll the Elder or the novelist and playwright Ireneusz Iredyński. On the Legion Trail, you can also see exhibitions about the Bochnia Ghetto, the careers of peasant sons and Bochnia residents.
